Wednesday,
Nov 6th 2013 was my lucky day. I and my colleague had some lunch in one of fast
food restaurant in Bekasi. We went to KFC in Metropolitan Mall because there
were such special offer for every purchasing on Wednesday. When we arrived, my
friend surprisingly told me that she saw Yovie Widianto there. And yes, he was
sitting there with his friend in the band. Unfortunately, I didn’t see the
handsome vocalist, Dikta there. But it’s okay. I saw that so many people
mingled on him, and want to take a picture. I saw some of his fans there such
as some employees in the mall, some students, and of course the visitors of the
restaurant. We still lined up to order some foods, but we planned to also take
a photo with him after finished lunch. Then we got our meal, we enjoy the food
and chit chat for everything that we know about Yovie and Nuno. I have seen
Yovie on the tv since I was child. He is the brainman behind the success of
Kahitna and Yovie Nuno. He is a great musician and composer. He has created
many hit songs. I love his songs, because it’s easy listening and romantic.
After we
finished with our meal, We came to greet him, and ask him if we might have some
photos with him. Then he asked if we have bought his album or not. Because
actually he came there for promoting his new Album “Yovie and His Friend”
collaborated with KFC in the selling. We said that we actually didn’t buy his
album. And he and his friend said that it just allowed for people that bought
it. I think it’s okay if we can’t take a pic with him. But surprisingly, he
said to us to hurry up move closer to him and let us take a pic with him. His
friend took my friend’s phone and take a pic for us. What a lucky day! After
one shoot, we thanked him and his friend. We left the restaurant happily, and
talk about his kindness and our lucky day. This was my first time to see his
“baby face” directly. After I reached the office, I searched more for his songs.
I like so much one of his song called “Sempat Memiliki” and then grab the chords
in the internet. I made some changes and here is the chords as my little
present for his generous heart.
